The Best Waffles, Ever.

I’m going to make a bold statement here: These are the best waffles, period. If you don’t like these, you’re either making them wrong, or you just hate breakfast. 

These waffles might help you survive one of those rough early mornings, and help fuel you through to the afternoon.

Not only are they freaking delicious, they are also healthy for you because they are packed with protein! They are healthy until you soak them in maple syrup, peanut butter and blueberries, like our family does! Did I mention that they are crazy easy to make?

This is a very well used recipe!

Check it out :

Put into blender and blend until smooth:

¾ Cup Vanilla or Plain Yoghurt

½ Cup low fat cottage cheese

2 eggs

Mix in large bowl

¾ Cup All Purpose Flour (Could use some whole wheat flour too)

½ Tsp Baking Soda

1 Tsp Salt

Optional Additions

Flax Seed, Wheat Bran

Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients and then use either waffle iron, or pour as pancakes

**A few pro tips:

  1. These take a little longer to cook compared to your boring old waffles and pancakes, use a lower heat for the pan if choosing to make them as pancakes so that you don't just burn the outside.

  2. If you’re finding the batter a little thick, just add a little milk.
